Pilgrim doing the Camino de Santiago. Price somewhat expensive. Double room without toilet in low season for 50 euros. They made me the check list, giving me the DNI to photograph it to document us, going through the DATA PROTECTION LAW. Very old rooms, old sheets with stains resistant to washing. The toilets are superficially clean, with dirt embedded from years. Noises at late hours on the same floor, from people who live there.
Not recommended in general!

During a few days visiting Tolosa to visit our friends we stayed at the Karmentxu pension.
Perfect location in the center of town.
Service and cleanliness of 10.
Highly recommended, we would repeat!

I was making my way to Santiago and I saw their prices on the hotel's website and they seemed correct to me. I also read that they specialized in pilgrims. So I call them and ask if they can save a room for me. It arrived and after checking me in, the lady told me a higher price than the one they had on their website. When I told him that I had seen their prices on the internet, he got angry and even reproached me for doing it. He told me that the internet is useless. That I didn't have to look at those things. Maybe this lady thinks the yellow pages still work.
That they are specialized in pilgrims on the Camino de Santiago will be a scam. As for the place, it is old but enough to spend a night. Without further pretensions.

My number 6. Worse than in the photo above.
We were not allowed to use the kitchen. (This may be the case, discuss this in advance) The water in the shower is almost always cold. But I'm happy with what was provided.
