Madeleine has quickly become a special destination for my family. The restaurant's proximity to the playground where my child enjoys playing, combined with its elegant ambience and superb cuisine, make it an easy choice for us. Like most places in Rome, the service does not always meet the quality of the experience and the bill. During our most recent visit, I found myself waiting over 30 minutes for my lunch of a hamburger with french fries and Tataki tuna. Despite my request for a well-done burger, it arrived slightly burnt, requiring me to remove some of it. Furthermore, my tuna dish came with a bit of water, which I think may have been due to the use of frozen ingredients. Nevertheless, the delightful cheesecake and macarons more than made up for any shortcomings.

Atmosphere and design is very nice because it’s not a style you see in Rome but the food was quite disappointing for me. The fritto was too oily and the salad didn’t taste good.
