I'd highly recommend Áliga Real Estate and Jose to anyone trying to buy / sell their property in Barcelona!
I used Áliga's services twice, back in 2018 to purchase and now in 2023 to sell a flat in Poblenou.
I purchased the flat as a non-resident. Jose communicates very well in English, he assisted and advised on every step of the process from obtaining NIE, opening Spanish bank account to transferring utility bills and even putting me in touch with a local architect / crew to do the renovation.
During the recent flat sale, Jose again was excellent. He supervised the whole sale while I was at home with family back in the UK which was extremely helpful!
He arranged cosmetic improvements in the flat, helped with installation of the security alarm, and helped to obtain the necessary documentation from the property management. Once he found the client he assisted me in every step, and was with me at the final exchange at the notary. After the sale he again helped me with utility bills transfer to the new owners and put me in touch with a local solicitor to finalise the capital gains and other taxes with the Hacienda.
